Rev. Fr. O.P.S. Santhanam, S.J.

He is the very first priest from Kuthalur.Initially a diocesan priest, he later joined the Jesuits and he went to Sri Lanka to spread the Good News and died in Colombo.

Rev. Fr. Dr. Mariasoosai Dhavamony, S.J.

He is the Famous Philosopher, theologian, and Indologist, the author of many books and publications, related to Interfaith Dialogue and Mission. He was one of the well-known professors of the Gregorian University, Rome. Many of the Bishops & Priests nationally and internationally were his students. He was the translator of Pope John Paul II's speech into Tamil in Marina Beach, Chennai, during his papal visit in 1986. Currently, he is residing in Loyola College, Chennai.

Br. Stanislaus Swamikannu, S.J.

He was a Jesuit Coadjutor Brother and he joined the Madurai Province in the fifties.He was the administrator in different Jesuit communities and the Estate Manager in Kodaikanal Estates and died of cancer in 1969.

Rev. Fr. R.S. Augustine

Former Procurator of Tuticorin Diocese & currently, he is the Parish Priest of Anna Nagar parish in Tuticorin.

Rev. Fr. Dr. S. Joseph Sebastian S.J.

He is the Founder of Kala Darshini – an Institute of Fine Arts and Culture in Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada and was also its Rector.Until recently, he was the Provincial of the Andhra Jesuit Province. Currently, he is the Rector of Vidyajyoti Theological College in New Delhi. He has been a visiting professor to different seminaries in India.

Rev. Fr. R. Stanislaus S.J.

Fr. Stanislaus's family originated from Kuthalur and later, it migrated to Ramnagar, Devakottai. Fr. Stan taught English in St. Joseph’s college Trichi, later, in St. Mary's School Dindigul, St. Mary's School Madurai, St. Xavier's School Tuticorin.He worked in Vatican Radio, Rome, and currently he is residing in Sacred Heart College, Shenbaganur, Kodaikanal.

Rev. Fr. V, Stanislaus SVD

Fr. Stanislaus is currently in Orissa working in Sundargarh Parish.

Rev. Fr. Jayabalan CMF

Fr. Jayabalan was the former Rector of CMF seminary in Karumathur and was also the Professor of Philosophy in Arulanandar College, Karumathur. Fr. Jayabalan passed away in 2006 due to a brain tumor.

Fr. David belongs to Coimbatore Diocese. Currently, he is the Parish Priest of Madhukkarai Parish in Coimbatore.

Bro. R. Arul Alphonse Ligory

Bro. Alphonse was a well-known musician in the Seminary. Initially, he was in Sivagangai Diocese and later he joined Mustard Seed Communities and worked in the Dioceses of Mandeville in Jamaica. Through his music ministry, he helped the young Jamaicans to come back to the Catholic Church. Bro. Alphonse died in a car accident in March 1998 at the age of 28.
